Has some qualms but still it's good 4 stars by yassertariq Dec 15, 2020 (Read all my 90 reviews)
The main drawback is that it only supports 15 jobs and lacks compression/encryption. show Review details
An excellent backup software 5 stars by wtawfik Jan 21, 2013 (Read all my 2 reviews)
I use it to backup on a network drive. It has incremental backup & is super fast. A lot of options & it does support Arabic file names (I guess other non ASCII languages too), which was a problem for me in other backup software. The interface could be a little bit better, but for a freeware with all these options, I can't be that fussy. show Review details
Needs work 3 stars by gimpguy Sep 09, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
To start, it's interface is very clunky and ill worded in some cases like "Same a backup" "Source files will be delete" etc... Unless this is being translated to English, I see no reason for such bad grammar in an application and maybe I'm picky, but that always threw me a bit when I'd see bad grammar in an application of any kind. (unless of course as stated, there is translation going on) As far as the picking and choosing, it really burns me up when I click on something and the selection screen flies back to the top. If I select the downloads folder and then want to select downloads within the folder, it shoots back up to the User folder (or hierarchy of whatever folder) first, causing me to click on something else all the time. FTP sync simply keeps acting as if it's doing something and never loads so I can't even say what's going wrong. The good points are that it's free, has some decent options like photo sync, FTP (ahem), backup and synchronization. It needs some work but is still a decent backup program and has a lot of potential. I'll stay with Syncback though for now and keep an eye on this one. show Review details
Good program but needs better interface 3 stars by AllReviewer Jul 01, 2010 (Read all my 8 reviews)
This program is good but can and should be better. The user interface needs improvement. For instance it automatically omits system folders such as the RECYCLER, very good feature, but it does not do the same thing for system files such as thumbs.db. Furthermore although the user says do not touch the source files it copies the thumbs.db in the reverse direction or at least claims to copy it. When such nuisances are eliminated it will be a quite reliable and feature packed program. show Review details
Very good experience so far... 5 stars by kucelkj May 29, 2010
It does 64 bit operating systems. A win-win if you ask me. I will continue to use this most valuable program! show Review details
Looks good 4 stars by mjones Feb 28, 2010 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Looks very good, and exactly like what I was looking for EXCEPT compression and encryption do not work in the free version, and I need both of those. show Review details
Excellent for data backup 5 stars by madmik Nov 24, 2009 (Read all my 32 reviews)
One of the very best for accuracy and speed. Takes a little while to set up,but thereafter it's so easy to perform fast incremental backups of all your important data with just one click. Excellent logs and more foolproof than most. One of my two top favorites. show Review details
