Fastest copying software 3 stars by shubh220795414 Jun 06, 2017
The fastest copying software is GS RichCopy 360. My friends using it with great enthusiasm both in the office and at home. It copies NTFS Windows permissions, attributes, and date and time stamps. It also supports Long Path Names.Try it, its the best I have seen so far. show Review details
Simplify and probably end your problems 5 stars by janekate010364 Aug 09, 2016
Use Long Path Tool, Long Path Tool can simplify and probably end your problems in unlocking, managing and renaming files that appear to have a long filename. show Review details
Very fast, bypasses problem files 4 stars by Harlan Mar 15, 2016 (Read all my 69 reviews)
This is a great program. It is very fast on Win 7 Pro and Win 10 Pro. My favorite feature is its ability to automatically skip files with problems (locked, corrupted or moved during the copy process) and continue with the operation without requiring operator intervention. Log files are nice to have to verify that the operation occurred as expected. One complaint is that the detailed help file is disorganized and sometimes cryptic, requiring a bit of Talmudic study to decide what parameters to use. A second complaint is that the interface is not well-thought out. TeraCopy, a program which is inferior to this one in most ways, has a better interface both for creating the task and watching its progress. show Review details
Used to love it, but i had to kill it 3 stars by gottleib1885 May 11, 2013 (Read all my 6 reviews)
For years this was my go-to program for replacing Windows' lackluster native copypaste function, but with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit there seems to be some issues. First, I couldn't get the shell extension to operate reliably or even stay selected. I'm the only account on the computer and have full administrative privileges with UAC turned completely off, so not sure why this was a problem. Second, there was no uninstall entry in Revo or in Windows. After researching the problem, I ran the setup.exe file to uninstall, but it failed to uninstall properly - leaving behind a message that I'd have to find & delete a dll file, then delete the folder. This ultimately required a reboot, which seemed excessive. One final note, which may or may not be relevant: for some reason, this program seems to have taken an excessively long time to copy large amounts of data using the default settings. As stated before, I have used this program many times before without any trouble, so I'm not sure why it was problematic for me this time. At any rate, I really appreciate the effort the developer(s) put into it. My system is a brand new Dell OptiPlex 3010 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, core i5 3.20 GHz, 8GM RAM, 1TB HDD. show Review details
So far it's faster 5 stars by gimpguy Aug 04, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I tested this against my Ycopy, TeraCopy and Windows, I was shocked that this copied 8 gigs 2 min faster than TeraCopy, 4 min for FastCopy, 6 for Tera and Ycopy, 8 min for Windows. That adds up for larger moves or copies. That said, FastCopy is as it says in it's name and I think a new file copy software for me. It has X64 version which I feel makes a difference. A must have for faster file copying. show Review details
Great program 5 stars by busybusy Jan 10, 2011 (Read all my 262 reviews)
It is the easiest way to stage your copy operations. This does what windows did not dream of doing. The integrated shell options make it easy to use and efficient. When you are moving lots of files from different locations this does the job. The error report is good and the information on his site help in the command line operations for batch modes. My wish list for the next version would have the source displayed as a graphical Tree-structure to be able to uncheck sub-folders. Two-Thumbs Up! show Review details
