It's a nice (NICE)scu, but not GREAT. Well, it may be great but next to others like PicPick, it loses it's greatness. That's not to say Shotty isn't really good, because it is and hey, it's free and will do anything you need it to do for basic (and more) screen shots. It captures very clean shots, has a decent editor, easy to use. I still recommend it to anyone because it truly is a nice screen shot software. show Review details

There are plenty of screen capture utilities around. I've used many of them. Most of them are freeware and very good. So is this one: Shotty. It does its job very well and it offers some extra nice features. I welcome the possibility to blurr parts of my screen dumps. However, I miss one important feature: a color picker. For that purpose I've to 'step down' to Picpick. Recommended nevertheless! show Review details
