The user interface is very well designed 4 stars by tonnysins589633 Nov 23, 2020
The user interface is very well designed and is self-documenting; The forum at the author's website is in clear English (follow publisher link above), and is closely monitored by him with answers usually within hours. All the documentation you need is contained in the screen shots above or in the user interface options included. This is a must-have tool for anyone working with multi-boot systems andor wanting to createuse bootable liverescue systems on USB media but can be used on any disk. It not meant for the rank novice but should be useful (and educational) to any moderately literate computer user. If you install your own disks then you should have this tool. You don't need to know what Lvyanan or GRUB4DOS MBRs are for Bootice to be useful. If you do, then use Google and educate yourself. The only thing missing is support for GPT disks but that may be forthcoming someday. PetsHoods https:www.petshoods.com show Review details

Great for people playing with ssds 5 stars by hanhwe.kim320 Apr 13, 2012
Futzing with SSD's can be painful. This tool really REALLY helped me out. I somehow copied a disk to a new SSD without the proper settings to make the SSD bootable. Bootice was able to fix my problem easily. It saved me alot of time! Thank You Pauly! show Review details
Manage it 5 stars by gimpguy Sep 15, 2011 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
If you want a thorough boot manager, aside from other things, this will do the trick. First thing I did was backed up the mbr which of course is a breeze. You can manage other partitions with it and such, the list goes on. Disk filling (which I tried on dummy partition) and it worked great and you can choose custom filling. New users beware, don't monkey with this unless you have a system you don't care about mucking up. Great piece of software! show Review details
Great boot sector utility 5 stars by TerryP Jan 24, 2011 (Read all my 87 reviews)
I've used this tool from its earliest versions and it's fantastic. Bootice simplifies boot sector management tasks using a very easy-to-use interface. It can perform a wide variety of tasks for boot records, partitions, and drives including, but not limited to; viewing, restoring, installing and formatting them. This is probably the easiest to use and most comprehensive tool of its type. It is especially useful for managing multi-partition drives and UFDs (USB Flash Drives). show Review details
