Few advantages 1 stars by ikniqpalagaq765 Jan 03, 2021 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Cryptnos 1.3.3 can generate up to an 88 character password, but its output is limited to a base64 character set. No wide usage of punctuation or other keyboard symbols in other complex password generators. If your password needs are limited by strict policies, Cryptnos might work for you. If you need complexity in the passwords you require, avoid this old, outdated software. show Review details
Works well 4 stars by Nicholas Feb 27, 2013 (Read all my 72 reviews)
A fine and handy method to create and retrieve unique (very) long passwords with a few keystrokes and mouse clicks. Works well as long as you remember your own passphrase. However, you have to use a password manager like Password Vault as well if you have password protected web apps on other platforms like Android, Apple or Linux. On these platforms Cryptnos will not run so you have to retrieve your user ID's and passwords from a printed list. show Review details
Great tool to improve your password security! 4 stars by jbauer68 Apr 26, 2012 (Read all my 4 reviews)
Let's face it, most of us use the same darn password for most sites, or maybe a combination of 2 different passwords. If you use the same password on Billy Ray's Blog that you use for your bank or Amazon account, Billy Ray (or anybody that hacks his site) has got your email and password, free to try it out on some commonly used site until they get a "Bingo". With this app, you can still only have to remember on password (or passphrase as they call it), but the actual password for each site will be totally different. Unlike with traditional password managers, even if your computer explodes and goes up in flames, your passwords are never lost - simply download a copy of the Cryptonos, enter your site names and the passphrase and you can recreate your passwords. show Review details
