Great tool to manage pdf documents 5 stars by fanofthe9470 Feb 07, 2020 (Read all my 2 reviews)
This is a fantastic free tool for managing PDF documents. It works. It's intuitive. I highly recommend. I use it at least once a week for merging multiple PDF documents into one PDF document. Give it a try! show Review details
No errors in preserved bookmarks 4 stars by BillyBob Mar 27, 2017 (Read all my 5 reviews)
This program offers the option of preserving bookmarks in documents that are split. It made an errorless preservation of bookmarks in a long document I split, including nested bookmarks. show Review details
Functionality over beauty 4 stars by kathy025 Oct 20, 2013 (Read all my 17 reviews)
While it is agreeable that that interface is not the most user-friendly at first glance, it can be easily studied in two minutes. The Visual Document module allows for extracting selected pages, reordering them, and finally merging them into a new PDF via drag-n-drop. The user is also able to save the environment (e.g. selection, reordering) in an XML file, which can be modified later. PDFsam may not be the "prettiest" software most lay users look for, but it surely delivers what it promises to do. show Review details
Really nice 5 stars by gimpguy Sep 08, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I had the opportunity to try this today and it's great. The interface is a bit (just a bit) tough, not horrible but you'll get how to work it in no time. After the fact, it combines, splits and works with pdfs wonderfully. It's fast, light and does the job. show Review details
Does its job but very clunky interface 3 stars by Harlan Sep 08, 2012 (Read all my 69 reviews)
Does what it is supposed to: splits, merges, and rearranges pages of PDF files. Interface is confusing and will be frustrating for occasional users; visual reordering is particularly labor-intensive with large files. It was designed to rely on plugins to extend its functionality, but it hasn't attracted any interest from other developers. There are several other free PDF split-and-merge utilities available, and this one, which has been largely unchanged for a long time, is showing its age. Since there are also several free PDF applications with a much broader range of functions, users should look elsewhere. show Review details
