When I had a corrupted Laptop, Rufus let me format a USB drive with a UEFI bootable Windows 10 iso and get it back up and running when everything else had failed. It is another one of those tools that has to be in your IT bag. show Review details

It's free, small footprint, no install. Works great for formatting, finding bad blocks and most of all, for installing an .iso image. Tried it with XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu, all booted and ran perfectly. Installs .iso's very quickly and solid. Can't say enough about this, a must have. show Review details
