portable Portable

portable music player with remote control Nemp is a portable music player and organize that offers a modern interface and an impressive array of features. Like similar programs, Nemp can scan your music folders and creates an organized media library from where you can manage your music. You can create playlists, edit ID3 tags, update lyrics and covers, rate your songs and search for music by artist, title, genre or any other ID3 data. If you have two sound cards installed, the program even supports a "Play in Headset" feature that allows you to listen to a selected title in your headset while other songs are playing through the speakers. Nemp also includes a web server that allows you to remote control the player from any web browser via a password protected interface. The web interface also allows for voting and downloading of individual songs. Other features include support for scrobbling, 10-band equalizer and sound effects, webstream support, party mode interface, birthday mode (play a specific song at a specified time), cover flow display, and much more. Excellent portable player 5 stars by busybusy Feb 12, 2019 (Read all my 257 reviews)
This is a really nice portable application. It is a pain to have to import and configure a new or existing media player. It is easier just to launch it from my portable drive instead. The feature I like as well is the build-in Web Server. This does make it easy to access the files while working in the browser. Anyhow check it out and leave a comment. Cheer. show Review details
Great little player 5 stars by TommyD Jul 24, 2013 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Nemp is a great little portable player with a lot of features. It has an easy to use, clear interface. The only problem I found is that it does not seem able to connect to LastFM or get lyrics when run behind a proxy. Overall, a great player you should try. show Review details
Great 5 stars by gimpguy Jun 11, 2013 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
It's really a solid little player which is easy to use as portable, just click on it. That said, it has a few cool features like echo, hail, play backwards, equalizer, which all work great. The interface is easy to use and easy on the eyes, has other options like lyrics, album cover and things of that nature. For a free portable player, it's definitely a 5. show Review details
