Awesome browser 5 stars by Grizzly660 Sep 12, 2018 (Read all my 9 reviews)
Don't know why the complaints below but I've been using Opera for years, last year I got rid of Google Chrome because Opera blows the other competition away hands down. When you right click on Task Manager you don't see a 100 windows open like other browser's, it's lightweight and only uses 1 window. My average CPU is 7 using Opera. I have used Opera over the years, but it has now reached the point where it is more trouble than I need. First, you can't export bookmarks without an extension and then it flattens your bookmarks folders if they are nested. Second, with the Version 45 update on 5-18-17 I ran into several problems which I couldn't solve. You now cannot install an earlier version and block automatic updates to the program while waiting on a fix. What program doesn't give you an option to refuse an update. A search on the internet gives a solution where you have to add a change to system environment to stop the update. Who needs this headache. show Review details
Dropped in rank 3 stars by realbull2009250 May 09, 2017 (Read all my 60 reviews)
When Opera dropped its Presto browser engine and adopted the BlinkChrome engine, things were looking good...until you visit websites. Most websites are visible, but I had problems with Youtube not loading videos. Any other browser I use is fine and loads videos, but Opera loads and loads...It's a pretty good browser if you want an alternative to Google Chrome, but I can't recommend it because of its buggy performance with Youtube(if you care). Some of the features that Opera once had hasn't been included yet and maybe never. If you don't care much about those cons then give it a try. But, I recommend you try Vivaldi browser instead, it's the REAL Opera. show Review details
