Got to try it 5 stars by gimpguy Aug 28, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I meant to try this a while back and never got around to it. I have to say, this is pretty cool viewing, modifying and just poking around the software. I have to agree with the old post prior to mine, it's neat to change some ugly icons. You can do so on many anyway but this will allow you to on apps that don't have that option. You can change bitmap etc... This isn't something for everyone but I find it fun to use and is still working with most applications I've tried it on. show Review details
Sweet. easy to use. 5 stars by Ghost_grey Jan 30, 2006 (Read all my 56 reviews)
This is pretty interesting for what it does, I have some programs that i use that has pretty bad icons, resource hacker makes effortless to change the icons, or extracting icons, and it also can change table strings such as the programs description, so if i wanted to i can make firefox look like internet explorer, or vice versa, i think. or just check out how things run in a program, it's pretty advanced too, and free ;) but if you visit the authors website he's not actively developing it anymore, but theres an open source one too. show Review details
