hide your real IP address SafeIP enables you to hide your real IP address by routing your Internet connection through one of several international proxy servers. The program offers proxy servers based in the US, UK, Germany, Poland and France. Choosing an IP location from a different country may slow down your connection speed but may allow you to access sites that block access from your own country. SafeIP also offers some additional features that allow you to block cookies, ads and known malware sites, as well as a DNS privacy option that will route your DNS request through private DNS servers. The program does a good job at faking your IP address, however the ad blocking feature only worked sporadically and using Private DNS slowed down web browsing significantly during our test. These features are best left disabled unless you really need them. SafeIP works with all browsers and is free to use with basic features. It offers an optional subscription ($29) that ads additional features and improved connection speeds. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Easy as pie to select a different Location, which gives your pc a different IP, for privacy. I checked with a couple of Check IP websites and it works. Hint, follow their suggestions and pick a location nearby your intended server. In the case of torrents from users all over, I guess just pick a locale with the desired language. show Review details

I have to say this does in fact do a great job. It's very easy to set and use and of course, as stated, if it gets slow, just change location. Plenty of options, may even get the pro version. show Review details

I have found this program extremely useful. The developer has responded promptly to my emails. I requested if an additional country's server's IP address could be added to the program and the developer promptly actioned my request. This was greatly appreciated. show Review details
