MS Money conversion 2 stars by elorsal Apr 30, 2011
Because of the difference in methods used to maintain investment accounts between MS Money and Ace Money, I am having a terrible time utilizing the features of Ace Money. Therefore I have decided to go back to MS Money where I feel secure in my financial efforts. Trying to convert to Ace Money and reconcile my accounts is and continues to be a horrible experience for me. show Review details
It's free: expect some flaws as okay 3 stars by VideoJockey Dec 30, 2008 (Read all my 7 reviews)
Print engine has been flawed for some time. They know this. Hide certain columns from view and try to print in WinXP and it will crash. The version for Win2K doesn't crash. In both XP and 2K, however, if you choose a range of pages to print, AceMoney ignores the choice and prints all. Several months of transactions can be many pages. You must manually halt unwanted page prints in the Windows spooler or your printer software. AceMoney does a good job of exporting to a standard comma delimited file (CSV) for importation into a spreadsheet program. That's what I do: Import AceMoney's exported CSV to Excel and print the range I want. Presently, that is the recommended method from AceMoney's user forum. It does a good job of importing the standards: Microsoft's Open Financial Exchange (OFX) and Quicken's format (QFX) files. All data is saved in a *.mnw file that you can store in an encrypted virtual drive. show Review details
You get what you pay for...and then some 5 stars by bill_ymr Oct 13, 2008 (Read all my 11 reviews)
I have been using this for several years. The interface is easy to understand, the program is simple to setup, and my wife (technology challenged) is able to use it with next to no training. I wish that it was easier to interact with spreadsheets, but, you get what you pay for. Right? show Review details
Used for years and never a problem 5 stars by compmend May 29, 2008
I have been using this program for years without a single problem for my home budget and financial needs. The program is easy to use w/o an overcomplicated interface, plus it provides useful features and reports that let you know where you money is going. The program allows you to split transactions, drag and drop Paypal invoices, schedule bill payments, etc. You can also get stock updates online which is a pretty nice feature. The only thing that would make it perfect is the ability to print checks, but, it is not lacking for it. show Review details
Good but misleading... 4 stars by acdowers Feb 26, 2007 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Although this is a fantastic program, the description is misleading in the since that it ONLY permits ONE user account not "accounts". When you try to add another account it pops up a window giving you the above detail and refers you to purchase the full version. show Review details
Almost complete expense tool 4 stars by jcharth Nov 08, 2005 (Read all my 16 reviews)
I was looking for a expense management software. Acemoney is missing a couple of features like the ability to apply a rate to a transaction. Also it would be nice to be able to add expense accounts by default. May be on the next version. The full version is really inexpensive show Review details
