Installed on Windows 7 no problem. When I got to the video capture setup screen, it correctly reported the current position (h:mm:ss) of the tape in my 1394-connected, 15-year-old Canon Optura. After 2 more project setup screens it performed the necessary tape operations to capture the specified video. If I wanted anything more than that, I'd surely fork over the dough -- which is an option with the author's Express product. show Review details

The only free dv capture program that allow you to capture from the middle of a tape (windows movie maker will give you error). Also the feature to capture an interval is very useful. show Review details
