Ok say you are going on vacation. You do not want to do a full DOD wipe and rebuild your computer. Use this tool before you start your trip to wipe the blank space. Now you have a little insurance that if your laptop gets lost or stolen that you have taken the extra steps to keep your past data private by making it unusable and minimizing your exposure. Just run the program over night while sleeping. Every traveler should use this before each trip. There are many other uses as well this is a program worth having. show Review details

Simple to use file removal for people who need to delete sensitive files. Integrates with Right Mouse click. There is a bulk erase mode as well. Personally, I cannot think of anything else that I would want. Very fast. show Review details

File shredder simply the best free eraser I've ever used. I did use another (popular)Eraser, shredder but found it had a bug that ended up reducing an 80GB HDD to 6GB in a few months! File Shredder on the other hand has never done this to my HDD and it's been nearly a year now. It's simple to install and use. I love it. This gets my thumbs up! show Review details
