Problems 1 stars by gimpguy Feb 27, 2013 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
I want to warn others of this software (at least until I get a reply from support) I used this on my prior system, noticed my hard drives, "back up drives" were sluggish, I scanned, formatted, even replaced on, and then the issue began again. I recently upgraded to a new motherboard, drive, g-card, etc... and still experienced extremely slow transfer, copy, etc.. between drives and usb. I found a folder from my LAST install on my backup drives called WinmendFolderHidden. Upon deleting, it wouldn't, just crashes, explorer, Ccleaner and unlockers. I managed in safe mode to move it to the RB but can't get it out of there. I get more crashes until I restore the folder. They need to fix this and soon. It's worse than a damn virus. Ran it on my other system, test system, same thing happens and oh my, to think I recommended this (Fixed) downloaded FilExile from sourceforge, wonderful, deleted all of the darn folders!! So if looking for a fix this will do! One last thing, they didn't appear until I enabled view hidden files and folders and now my drives are back to their speedy selves. show Review details
Unique file and folder options 4 stars by beretbleu478 Mar 14, 2012 (Read all my 3 reviews)
Finally a friendly interface with what is really essential : FILE and FOLDER Options. So you can actually hide a whole folder without manually clicking individual files. It proves to be one of the very rare software to do both as a freeware. I'm no expert at determining if it can be broke or hacked, but the end user does find it extremely well designed. It does not seem to cause any problems with XP Pro either. Been looking for this for years. Thanks! show Review details
