Preserves date created!! good android too. 5 stars by henerey773 Dec 18, 2016 (Read all my 37 reviews)
I tried Google Drive and Dropbox for my folder of thousands of photos. OneDrive preserved the Date Created (unlike GD or DB), so then one can effectively sort by Date. The others tag everything by date uploaded, fine for fresh content but lousy for a large existing collection. OneDrive also works very well for syncing onto an Android phone with the OneDrive Android app. MS got it right! show Review details
One more great product from MS 5 stars by iwillneverstop Dec 30, 2012 (Read all my 25 reviews)
MS SkyDrive (client), together with the SkyDrive cloud service, is great. Several great features are Automatic sync and resync, Remote file access. Some minor improvements could be "Automatic spliting into predefined-size files", "Filter by filename to sync", "Configuration for web access URL". MS SkyDrive is better for me when compared with other alternatives. show Review details
Finally with the bests 5 stars by franciscolaranjeira Sep 18, 2012 (Read all my 5 reviews)
Microsoft, have (with security Essentials)a wonderful tool to use in cloud storage. Better than Dropbox or Google Drive, the giant of Redmond is finally on top. show Review details
I upgraded skydrive (and got 25 gb vs. 7gb!) 5 stars by compuable Apr 29, 2012 (Read all my 11 reviews)
I upgraded SkyDrive and received a BONUS of up to 25 GB! (vs. the standard previously available 7GB!) I had previously tested and used SkyDrive prior to upgrading (but not Office 365; at least not yet, anyway) and I really like it a lot, as well. And I especially liked it when I checked the site today; right after your posts in here, btw - thx! And was offered a "free user" upgrade from 7GB to 25GB supposedly "for loyal users" in the "Manage storage" section of the SkyDrive site. I have the Google Drive the service too and so far so good. I downloaded a few things to test it out and then just last night I uploaded my entire Windows 7 'documents' folder (where I keep just about everything). The only somewhat 'negative' thing I can think of; regarding the other Google Drive software; is that it took a really LONG time to upload all the .docs - but there were a lot of them so no complaints, really. Also, another minor issue is that it seemed to be much easier to access it after uploading; from the Chrome Browser (as opposed to others that I like to use) but no biggie. show Review details
From a dropbox user 5 stars by XboxDaddy Apr 26, 2012 (Read all my 7 reviews)
I think MS finally got it right on this one. No longer are they the left out kid that everybody is laughing about - they actually produces something that outshines the market leader. Unlike Dropbox, they offer 7 gigs of storage (compared to 2 GB), AND they even trumped Google Disk Drive (which came out a day later and "only" offered 5 gigs. SkyDrive is just as easy to use as DropBox, but it also offers the advantage to access ALL you files on your PC, even if they are not in your SkyDrive folder. Personally, I am not an immediate fan of this feature and I turned it off, but I can see where this would add quite a bit of value to the service. Combine this with the largest amount of free storage in the market and you got yourself a winner :-) show Review details
