Terriffic

This is "as far as HTML is concerned" the perfect editor for me. I hate having to put in a lot of basic things by hand and this cuts all those corners for me, allowing me to get to the fun stuff. It has a capture mode for web addresses, allowing you to add it into the document automatically when highlighting, or copying the address, now that's cool. If you like smileys, this has enough smiley syntax for near anyone. There is really just too much to put into a review, so I suggest trying it out. This is the light version and I doubt many of us would be able to tell by the features. It seems you can save as near any type of document you can think of which is an added bonus, not to mention it handles far more lines of text than notepad. It's going to take a while to truly dig in to this program (I've only scratched the surface, if that) but currently, I agree with the masses, a definite 5 star.

An excellent (free) text editor ..

You just can't beat this --free-- editor for features. You can buy the standard or pro versions, but do try the free version first. You might be pleasantly surprised and find the light version is all you need. try it, you'll like it. Its way ahead of window's notepad.

Great tool

This is an incredible program. I use it literally every day, and I couldn't imagine doing what I do in my business without it. The clip features are what makes it work for me. It takes several hours of manual file formatting and executes it in about 15 seconds. Get it, and you won't be sorry.

A must-have

This is a must have for anybody who likes to manipulate text. If you like GREP, *this* is *THE* program for you! I took a plain text bible and turned it into a linked html website in notime. Just write the script and NoteTab will do all the work. You can customize EVERYTHING. And there are VERY MANY cliplibraries that are free to download. There are also 3 or 4 related active Yahoo Groups with instant and willing support (!!!!!). Really, this is a winner. I purchased the Pro version because it had even more power for manipulating text. Thank you, Mr. Fookes!

I must admit...this is one "goodie-laden" text editor! Definitely in the "top 5 ever made" (in my humble opinion)! In a nutshell: It's designed extremely well and it does a lot!
