Need a location code from yahoo to use

It needs a weather location code from weather.yahoo.com in order to use. I was not able to get the code from there. Even though the download is small it includes almost 3,000 files and is a pain to remove (folder was protected).

Simple, high-quality little weather program

SWeather works without a hitch on my WIN764 system. It give a nice summary which can sit on the desktop and optionally can put weather and temperature icons in the system tray. You can also track as many cities as you'd like.

Almost perfect

Pros: The expanded list and it can be rearranged. Multiple locations are easy to add and resort. Cons: Doesn't load any info after I start it with either of the menu programs I use. Geek Menu (a fork of PortableApps Menu) and 8Start. Runs fine from a desktop icon. Wishlist: Add at least one user entry to the expanded view. I would like to be able to add a link to the NOAA site so I can see the two day hourly forecast. Fix the problem with not loading weather info after starting from the menu programs.

Perfect lightweight weather app

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Something small and unobtrusive, that consumes very little system resources. Most of all, it sticks to the first principle of design: do one thing and do it well. With sWeather a simple glance down at the taskbar shows the current temperature and weather conditions. To see a five day forecast a click to the icon shows weather outlook for the coming week. Elegant, simple, functional. Love it! My only request for this one is not to start adding a bunch of unnecessary features. Any future changes need only address bug fixes (if there are any) or finding ways of reducing the memory footprint even further (not that this is an issue in the first place). Hats off to the developer for this one.

Almost a 5...almost...

I would have given this little weather app a 5 but needs a small map, plus I don't like going to Yahoo! to see the map. Functionality wise, it works great but just needs some touch ups, maybe even the interface.
